Occupational Therapist

My name is Jennie, an Occupational Therapist with a big heart and passion for helping people of all ages reach their fullest potential. I completed my Honours Degree at Deakin University and had the privilege of publishing my research in the British Journal of Occupational Therapy, exploring the link between children’s screen time, social participation and physical activity.

My special interest lies in supporting neurodivergent children, focusing on emotional regulation, sensory processing, social participation and building independence in everyday tasks. My approach is warm, client-centred and always led with kindness. I aim to create a safe, nurturing space where children and their families feel genuinely seen, heard and supported every step of the way.

As a bilingual therapist in Vietnamese, I feel grateful to be able to connect with families from different cultural backgrounds, making communication feel natural, respectful and comforting.

People often describe me as compassionate, gentle and easy to talk to, qualities I hold close to my heart in both my personal and professional life. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me travelling, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, or spending time with my adorable bichoodle, Suga.

Ariel is a registered Occupational Therapist with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) from Monash University. She works predominantly with NDIS participants in both community and clinic settings, supporting individuals across the age spectrum with a range of conditions, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), intellectual disability, and physical support needs.

Ariel is passionate about helping her clients work towards their goals and improve their capacity to participate in everyday life. Her interventions focus on areas such as self-care and daily living skills, sensory regulation, emotional and self-regulation, social skills, executive functioning, fine and gross motor skills, assistive technology recommendations, and basic home modifications.

Ariel values creating a safe and respectful space where clients feel heard and supported. She adopts a holistic, collaborative, and client-centred approach in her practice.

Outside of work, Ariel enjoys travelling and spending time with her miniature dachshund, Yuzu. She is also an avid coffee enthusiast who loves brewing coffee with her partner in their coffee corner.
